Lava Run - Craftable Version

Thank you so much for supporting my game! Lava Run is available in a few different formats, including a craftable version! This page will take you through the multiple different ways to make your board, tiles, and pieces to play a game of Lava Run from home!

How To Play

To start, here are the rules for Lava Run. Read through the PDF or watch the video instructions to understand the game before building the components needed to play a game. I also suggest printing a copy of the rule book for quick reference when playing!

Printable Board and Tiles

Use this downloadable PDF to print a board and tiles from home. I suggest printing on a thicker paper like card stock, or adding cardboard to the back of the board and tiles to make them more sturdy.

Try printing to sticker paper and using chipboard to make more sturdy board and tiles.

Crochet A Set

My favorite method for crafting dinosaur pieces is to crochet them! Use my tutorials below to learn how to make 9 different dinos to play with. For complete beginners, you can jump right in with the Triceratops pattern here, or my Crocheting 101 series that you can use to learn how to crochet in slower, more segmented pace.

3D Printing a Set

Download and 3D print these adorable custom made dinos! These 3D models and STL files designed by Elliot Christian (aka @walkinglegendstudios) are prepped and ready for printing and painting.

Tabletop Simulator Version

For playing Lava Run digitally, I designed a TableTop Simulator mod for Lava Run. This requires the computer program Steam, and a copy of the game Table Top Simulator

After creating a Steam account, and downloading Tabletop Simulator, go to the Lava Run Mod page and click the +Subscribe button. Lava Run should now be in your list of games when you open Tabletop Simulator.
